Hydrangea Blue / Hydrangea Blueing Agent is a Fertiliser specifically developed to feed and maintain Hydrangeas at the correct nutrient and pH values to encourage the colouration of blue hydrangeas.
As soil pH and available aluminium determines the blue flower colour in hydrangeas, it is most important that pH of the soil or potting media is adjusted prior to the flowering period. Any pH between 5.5 and 6.0 is acceptable during plant growth, but when flowering begins the pH for blue must be 5.5 or lower. Soil or potting mix pH can be lowered by adding sulphur to the media and maintained by the regular use of this blue solution for wonderful blue hydrangeas.
