Hydrangea Harlequin - growing - coming soon!
Hydrangea Macrophylla Harlequin. One that stands out in a crowd. Harlequin lives up to is name with large blousy mopheads in unique bicolour sepals. In alkaline soil rosy pink is edged with creamy white while in acid soils a mix or marine blues to deep purples are rimmed with slivery white edges. A smaller grower at about 1.5m and one that does not like the sun, plant in a shaded position. Its blooms make wonderful long lasting cut flowers.
Soil or potting media will determine the colour of your flowers. Don't want luck to determine you hydrangea colour? Use Hyadrangea Blueing Agent or Hydrangea Pinking Agent to turn the flowers the colour you desire.
