Its stunning velvety silver leaves make it a wonderful feature plant year round. And its vibrant red flowers in summer provide a valuable nectar source for beneficial insects and birds. It is a standout in a pot or in the garden. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis wonderful plant is slow to grow and reaches approximately 1m x 1m at maturity. It loves a sunny or full sun position and a well drained soil. It requires a regular water to establish, but once established has a low water requirement. It is tolerant of frost and coastal conditions. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eProteas are sensitive to Phosphorous in fertiliser.
