Bougainvillea Thai Gold Double flowered Bougainvillea.

Double Flowered Bougainvillea are the most desirable of all Bougainvillea cultivars. And what a display they put on!
Starting their flowering period in spring, and continuing all summer. Lapping up the summer heat, and finally finishing their blooms in autumn. These plant love a warm sunny position in the garden. They prefer full sun, but will grow in part shade. And position them in a warm winter sunny spot if possible.

Equally as tough and vigorous as standard bougainvillea. Their main difference is the fact they produce double and triple flowers. Providing large puffs of brightly coloured flowers. The flowers hang on, and don’t fall off the plant. Providing gardeners with a longer window of colour.

Amazing uses for this plant are as a climber against walls, patios or over pergolas. Or with some pruning, train it as a shrub or into a standard. They makes amazing pot specimens too. And can be trained into a bonsai.
