Grevillea Hills Jubilee

This wonderful Grevillea has been introduced to Australian gardens by Peter Ollerenshaw of NSW. A profusely flowering and popular cultivar with beautiful creamy white, gold and pink flowers. Flowering can occur year round in the right position, ours flower heavily in winter. But their specified flowering time is spring, summer and Autumn. And it puts on a real show. Bird, bee and butterfly  attracting, it provides a valuable nectar source through the year particularly in the cooler months. It makes a fantastic spreading shrub approx 1m H x 1m W. The lovely fine leaves are green and provide a wonderful contrast to the flowers. This is a very showy grevillea when in full flower. And very hardy grevillea perfect for landscaping, as a specimen shrub, for low screening or hedging, a rockery plant and for coastal gardens. It also makes a fabulous pot plant if kept pruned to size.

Hills Jubilee loves full sun, but will tolerate part sun. Drought tolerant once established. And tolerates light frosts and costal conditions. And a great plant adaptable to clay soils.

Australian native plants are sensitive to Phosphorous in fertiliser. For best results we recommend using Garden Delight Rock Minerals at planting and in place of a fertiliser.
