Grevillea SAndra Gordon

This wonderful Grevillea is bred from two Queensland species of grevillea. Making a super tough and hardy plant. A profusely flowering and very popular cultivar which in the past has won the award of Best Selling Australian Shrub. With large, beautiful bright yellow metallic flowers. Flowering moats of the year in the right position (perhaps except for summer), it puts on a stunning show. Bird, bee and butterfly attracting, it provides a valuable nectar source through the year particularly in the cooler months. It makes a fantastic shrub 3 x 3m, or if left in pruned a small tree approx 5-8m H x 3-5m Wide. The lovely dissected leaves are a stunning silvery green and provide a wonderful contrast to the flowers. This very showy, and very hardy grevillea is perfect for landscaping, as a specimen shrub, or makes an amazing screening or hedging plant.

Sandra Gordon loves full sun, but will tolerate part sun. Drought tolerant once established. And tolerates light frosts and costal conditions.

Australian native plants are sensitive to Phosphorous in fertiliser. For best results we recommend using Garden Delight Rock Minerals at planting and in place of a fertiliser.
