Hydrangea quercifolia Oak Leaf Hydrangea

Hydrangea quercifolia Oak Leaf Hydrangea is a showy oak-leaf Hydrangea with bigger sterile white flowers which almost obscure the lacy fertile flowers on big conical panicles. The oak-like foliage is distinctive and provides additional interest throughout the year, particularly in Autumn, when the leaves turn a gorgeous russet and burgundy before falling in late winter. Great as an informal hedge, in pots on a shady patio or on either side of a door on a cool verandah! Looking stunning in both Cottage Gardens and more formal landscapes, along pathways and amongst ferns and other shade loving plants.
