Lemon Myrtle is a delightful Australian Native bush tucker plant. It is an absolute delight for any garden. A small growing native tree great for the garden or pruned to size in pots. It has the most fantastic fragrant leaves that release a strong lemon scent when crushed, pruned, rubbed or after rain. Beautiful creamy white flowers which are loved by butterflies and beneficial insects. It’s is a delightful plant and a must for any garden.
The leaves of Lemon Myrtle are used for citrus flavour. and are used in sweet and savoury products. The milled leaves are used to impart a distinctively clean and crisp citrus flavour in teas, drinks, syrups, glazes, cakes, biscuits, dressings, mayonnaises, sauces and icecreams. A must have for any gardener that loves food or cooking!
