Our favorite dwarf Protea, Autumn Prince exudes a magic first through its elegant vibrant elegant upright silver pink flower buds, then through its salmon pink coloured flowers. This particular selection of Protea cynaroides is very compact, only approx 75cm high, and up to 1m wide. It flowers readily and in abundance through Autumn. Attracting bird life in the cooler Autumn months, annd makes a wonderful cut flower both fresh and dried. Luscious curved green foliage makes it a wonderful pot specimen, or garden plant.

Drought resistant once established, frost tolerant, and coastal tolerant. They love a full sun position in well drained soils.

Proteas are sensitive to Phosphorous in fertiliser. For best results we recommend using Garden Delight Rock Minerals at planting and in place of a fertiliser.
