Another favorite of the Serruria family, Pretry N Pink is steeped in romance and beauty. A favorite in floristry, and the bouquets of brides. It makes a wonderful fresh cut or dried flower. And even more impressive when grown as a small shrub in a pot or the garden. Its delicate, pink spindled flower petals spread out the way a gown flutters around a bride-to-be. And plants flower profusely from winter to spring. Smothering the shrub in stunning flowers. The fine, green bronze fimbriated leaves add a feathery appearance below the flowers. A stunning shrub both in or out of flower.
Despite being a critically endangered plant, it is relatively easy to grow. Loving a sunny or full sun position, and well drained soil with a regular water. Growing 1m H x 1m W, it is wonderful as a specimen in a large pot, or in the garden. It is frost tolerant (moderate frosts) and coastal tolerant.
Serruria are sensitive to Phosphorous in fertiliser. For best results we recommend using Garden Delight Rock Minerals at planting and in place of a fertiliser.
