Tibouchina Illusion 

This fantastic Tibouchina is called Illusion. One of the Fantasy Flower series bred by Terry Keogh of Qld for outstanding performance. And one of our favourites!
It has a long flowering season, from late spring all the way into winter. It’s stunning flowers open white in the centre, with a purple reverse. They then age to pink, and on to a darker purple pink. Transitioning in colour over a few days. Creating a stunning display.

Great as a small shrub, we keep ours pruned under a meter. They also make great pot plants, specimen plants in the garden, hedges or a small tree if left to grow to its full height of 2.5m H x 2m W.

They love full sun positions, but grow really well in part shade too! Tough and resilient once established. And more cold tolerant than some of the more traditional Tibouchina.
